Senior Specialist, Private Market Ops - Nuveen Global Investment Operations
The role will be responsible for performing operational functions and maintain investment records for a variety of alternative investments in the Real Assets, Impact Investing, Real Estate, and Private Placements space. Investors include the TIAA General Account as well as a variety of third-party clients..
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Enter transactions such as capital calls, distributions and valuation transactions for private equity into the Front Invest system, along with supporting documents.
- Facilitate the closing of new Private Placement deals in CRD by overseeing outgoing wires and submitting instructions to take physical certificates into the custodian vault.
- Help to resolve reconciliation issues between the custodian banks and accounting teams.
- Initiate payment requests in Great Room payment processing module
- Provide high level support required to meet critical investment deadlines
- Review payment details (wiring instructions, supporting backup)
- Maintain bank account information
- Adhere to internal policy “Nuveen Signing Authority Delegation for Nuveen Investment Disbursements”
- Manage requests for new approvers
- Request access to the payment processing module for new system users
- Link new Investments to its associated bank account
- Proactively engage in project related work within and outside of team
- Identify improvement opportunities, look for new ways to get things done
- University (Degree) Preferred
