Marvell is a leading provider of innovative storage technologies, including ultra-fast read channels, high-performance processors, leading edge transceivers, highly efficient analog designs, and powerful cryptographic engines. These solutions address all segments of the hard disk drive (HDD) and solid-state drive (SSD) electronics markets, providing complete solutions including controllers, product firmware, and reference board designs. Many of the same technologies have been utilized in Marvell storage system solutions products, powering PCs, servers, cloud, and enterprise systems.

What You Can Expect

  • Responsible for understanding the Fiber channel Specs.

  • Design and implement critical firmware for High-speed data storage communication.

  • Perform Unit level tests.

  • Interact with customers to understand their requirements & issues.

  • Debug field issues reported by customers & internal QA team.

  • Work and communicate effectively with global team.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s/Master's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering or related fields with Minimum 6+ years of experience in design and development of Firmware for HBAs.
  • Strong understanding of FC Layers (Layer 1-4), upper layer protocols like SCSI, NVMe, FICON
  • Desired proficiency in Assembly level programming for RISC based and ARM processors, Proficiency in 'C' and capable to understand and code in assembly.
  • Significant experience with memory constrained real time platforms.
  • Good understanding of secure boot & Sideband management.
  • Proficiency in debugging Real time embedded firmware/software, familiarity in usage of Jammers and analyzers.
