As a Sr. Staff Solution Architect, you will leverage your expertise in delivering high-quality technical designs with focus on converting complex business requirements into technical architecture solutions. Your role will involve contributing technical architecture oversight to project timelines, budgets, and ensuring that the design and alignment of technology meet technical governance standards, and standardizing patterns to enable scale, stability, and consistency.
As a Senior Staff Software Architect, you will be responsible for:
- Understanding the business requirements to come up with technical solutions in form of digital products or services. Assess conception designs to provide and give explanation for purposed solution.
- Enforcing policies, processes, and frameworks used to guide the development, deployment, maintenance of technology within the business.
- Requiring to give presentation of ideas and projects to business stockholders, explaining proposed architecture solution, present their findings, and have the ability to explain why a product may not fit business needs.
- Overseeing the hiring and training of team members to ensure they are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to successfully deliver the team’s strategic goals.
- Working closely with stakeholders, such as product managers, designers, and quality assurance professionals, to ensure project alignment with business goals.
- Ensuring continuous business improvement according to benchmarks and standards and decisions related to technology choices, design /architectural considerations, and implementation strategy.
- Committing to goals, ability to act on initiative, to take charge and move forward, and drive projects forward when set-backs occur. ability to be self-efficient
- Fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, encouraging team members to explore new ideas and technologies.

To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) with minimum of 2 years of professional experience, or in lieu of bachelor’s degree 4+ years of professional experience in designing and building in a public cloud environment.
- Have Extensive experience in designing cloud infrastructure, commercial/enterprise products, and platform as a service with container orchestration.
- Have Strong communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders, team members, and other departments.
- Have Ability to address and resolve technical and managerial challenges.
- Be updated with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
- Can Design, highly available, cost efficient, fault tolerant, scalable systems within AWS and Azure (Google Cloud Platform GCP not required but a plus) (Cloud Compute).
- Have basic understanding of interconnected computing devices that can exchange data and share resources with each other, communication protocols to transmit data over physical or wireless technologies; VPN, Firewall, and Load balancing, Web Application Firewalls (WAF) concepts, OSI model, DNS (Networking).
- Have Basic understanding of security that prevents unauthorized access to organizational assets including compute, networks, and data (Cybersecurity)
- Have basic understanding of container engines and deployment concepts. Container engines including Docker and Kubernetes along with its cloud platform variances (Database).
- Have basic understanding of relation and non-relational databases, database engines, and deployment concepts (storage)
- Have Basic understanding of authentication and authorization services. Including OICD, SAML, Active Directory, SSO. (Identity Access Management)
- Have Basic understanding of continuous integration and continuous deliver using technologies such as AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions.
- Have Experience with Infrastructure as Code development (Automation, CICD) AWS CloudFormation, AWS Code Build, Code Deploy, GitHub Actions
- Have Some experience with of programming languages: Cloud Formation, Terraform, Python, Java, PowerShell
