As a Senior Staff Software Engineer in UI you will be responsible for developing responsive and performant UIs using ReactJS and Javascript. This role requires good communication skills to collaborate with backend/server side engineers to define REST API contracts between UI and the backend and with Product Managers to define good user stories. Your primary focus will be to develop front end code with good Unit test coverage to ensure good coverage and quality of a feature.

Key Skills:

  • 7 to 9 years of experience in developing data intensive Web Applications.
  • Mandatory skills – React, JavaScript, Redux, React hooks, npm, webpack and related tech. 
  • Should have sound debugging skills using tools like browser's developer tools, Fiddler, Postman etc.
  • Should have a deep understanding of cutting edge frontend technologies, CI/CD tooling, SDLC processes.
  • Expertise with web application architecture, microfrontends, application security and REST APIs.
  • Should understand basic Algorithms and Data Structures.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop web applications using React, JavaScript, CSS. 
  • Ability to work with and mentor junior engineers. Take end to end responsibility of the assigned tasks/modules/features by interacting with different stakeholders like Product Managers, UX designers, QA etc.
  • Work in SCRUM / Agile environment. Follow the Scrum process, participate in Scrum ceremonies and follow the incremental delivery model.
  • Develop UT/CT and follow the best practices for code development and code hygiene. Write modular and unit tested code.
  • Design and develop common frameworks and solutions.
  • Work with the development teams to deliver new enhancements & features, support and maintain existing production code in the field and develop. 

Qualification:

  • B.Tech / B.E / M.E./ M.Tech (Computer Science) or equivalent
