NVIDIA System Software team is looking for a highly motivated system software engineers who have proven track record of developing and leading technologies in kernel space from end to end. Have ability to go into any level of details to find the right solution and deliver high-quality software and is comfortable to collaborate across different teams.
What you'll be doing:
- Work closely with multi-functional teams to develop system software solutions for kernel-level problems.
- Discuss architectural details with hardware teams and work together to build software solutions.
- Participate in different stages of chip development, from inception to production.
- Follow emerging trends in PCIE and connected sectors, focusing on innovation to boost performance and power efficiency.
- Solve deep technical problems from existing and new architecture.
What we need to see:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of proven experience in working on core system software problems.
- Extensive knowledge of PCIE and associated technologies.
- Proficiency in C and kernel-level debugging.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
- Expertise in silicon bring-up of SOC products.
- Experience developing software solutions using AI tools.
- System-level knowledge that extends beyond a single component.
