In this role, you will:
- Participate in complex technical issues and initiatives related to large scale applications, systems, databases, or other technical products and services
- Identify opportunity for process improvements within technical support strategies and plans
- Review and analyze technical queries to extract data, create standard databases, or perform limited programming to fine tune systems supporting low to medium risk technical deliverables
- Present recommendations for resolving complex technical queries
- Exercise some independent judgment to analyze performance trends and recommend process improvements while developing understanding of technical process controls or standards
- Work as an internal consultant regarding use of tools and processes
- Provide information related to supported system area to functional colleagues, internal partners and stakeholders, including internal customers
- 2+ years of Systems Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Experience in Systems Engineering, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, education
- Provides support for medium complex technical OS and Hardware Support and Maintenance Activities.
- Prior experience of handling production support , handling Linux systems is a must.
- Good understanding of writing Ansible playbooks to simplify day to day systems administration work.
- Develop observability dashboard like Grafana , Splunk & ServiceNow.
- Troubleshoots network, hardware and software issues using pre-defined guidelines.
- Knowledge on Infrastructure and Remote Administration of various Infrastructure Devices.
- Familiar with ticketing and Monitoring tools and Acknowledging the Alerts in time.
- Familiar with Different Components of Infrastructure like Routers, Switches, Servers, SAN and NAS Devices.
- Familiar with Infrastructure Service Management Processes (Incident/Change/Problem Management).
- Knowledge or Certification in any of the OS Platform.
- Able to extract the configuration information and Use basic diagnostic tools for troubleshooting.
- Ability to Communicate and Co-ordinate with multiple support teams and business communications.
- Ability to make quick and accurate decisions, including the appropriate escalation of critical issues.
- Understand Process and Environment, working closely with Senior engineers, leads & manager.
- Develop Skills in Specific domain with the help of self-paced, Instructor led trainings.
- Technical Support and Working Experience in any of Infrastructure Domain.
- Support Knowledge with effective communication Skills.
- Certification or Knowledge on Redhat Linux is a must.
- Ansible playbook development is a must.
