Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Drive execution of strategic programs spanning multiple products and functions.
- Build detailed program plans, ensuring alignment of timelines, resourcing, budgets, and dependencies.
- Oversee delivery, release planning, and deployment cycles, ensuring commitments are met with high quality.
- Standardize the use of program management tools and processes across teams for consistency and transparency.
- Partner with engineering, product, and business teams to align scope, priorities, and schedules.
- Track and communicate progress, risks, and dependencies across multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Identify execution bottlenecks proactively and work with stakeholders to resolve blockers quickly.
- Lead effective stakeholder management across executive leadership, engineering, product, delivery, and support functions.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in technology-driven organizations, preferably with exposure to global tech Companies or high-growth startups.
- 5–8 years of proven success in driving large, cross-functional, and organization-wide programs.
- Strong engineering background with prior hands-on development or testing experience; candidates who transitioned from coding to program management are highly preferred.
- Proven expertise in executing large-scale technical programs, driving strategy into execution with strong focus on AI systems and emerging technologies; skilled in aligning cross-functional teams, resolving risks, and delivering impactful outcomes.
- Self-driven with the ability to conceptualize, establish, and scale new programs from the ground up; must be comfortable rolling up sleeves when needed.
- Strong working knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and traditional program management frameworks to adapts program style to team needs.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering/technology, MCA, or equivalent.
Good to Have
- Deep familiarity with JIRA as a program management tool; admin-level expertise is an advantage.
- Ability to define, track, and refine program metrics to align with organizational goals.
- Demonstrated capability in partnering with engineering teams and product management to solve complex technical and execution challenges.
- Customer-first mindset with the ability to shape programs that directly enhance product quality and customer experience.
- Highly curious, adaptive, and action-oriented, with a strong learning mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics for diverse stakeholders.
