Role Summary:
At LSEG, our Data & Analytics division plays a central role in enabling clients to unlock the value of trusted, timely, and actionable insights. We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead and coordinate the delivery of multiple strategic programmes across our Data & Analytics portfolio.
This role will oversee a diverse portfolio of initiatives, including multi-year obsolescence programmes aimed at modernising core platforms, migrating services to the cloud, and decommissioning legacy technologies.
The role is pivotal in ensuring operational resilience and engineering roadmap compliance across the organization’s infrastructure estate.
You will partner with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of these critical initiatives, balancing technical complexity with commercial priorities.
The successful candidate will bring both technical understanding and strong programme management expertise, ensuring outcomes that support LSEG’s long-term growth, resilience, and innovation strategy.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Manage projects effectively to ensure delivery against committed plans for Data and Analytics , by working with CIO teams, program directors and project managers in charge of the execution of the respective initiatives. Build effective reporting across the programmes to provide status updates along with communication of risk position
Lead programme governance activities including RAID management.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the delivery of multi-year, large-scale obsolescence and transformation programmes, ensuring timely decommissioning of legacy platforms and adoption of modern data and analytics solutions.
Oversee multiple concurrent programmes within the Data & Analytics division, ensuring outcomes are aligned to LSEG’s strategic objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, operations, risk, and compliance) to define scope, timelines, milestones, and success criteria.
Track, manage, and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies across programmes, including regulatory and business-critical impacts of obsolescence.
Oversee programme budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation across multi-year roadmaps.
Ensure delivery of secure, scalable, and compliant technical solutions, aligned with LSEG’s enterprise architecture and data governance standards.
Provide senior stakeholder reporting to steering committees, executive forums, and regulators where required.
Drive a culture of continuous improvement and accountability, mentoring project peers.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
Strategy, Technology Governance, Data Analysis, Information Management, Risk management experience
Proven experience in infrastructure engineering or architecture within a large scale enterprise environment.
Hands-on experience with technology lifecycle management, obsolescence tracking, and remediation planning.
Familiarity with automation & tooling (e.g., ServiceNow)
Understanding of cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
Proven ability to influence and drive change across cross-functional teams, with experience leading through ambiguity and managing stakeholders in complex environments
