ISS STOXX is seeking an experienced UI/UX designer in Mumbai, India
Overview:
We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer to join our team and elevate the user experience of our web and mobile applications. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers and developers to design intuitive interfaces and deliver seamless experiences across platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Design wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that communicate design ideas clearly.
- Collaborate with developers to implement UI components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Optimize designs for responsiveness across devices and screen sizes.
- Conduct user research and testing to validate design decisions.
- Maintain design consistency and contribute to design system evolution.
- HTML/CSS/JavaScript - Solid command of front-end technologies to bridge design and development.
- Responsive Design - Ability to create fluid layouts and flexible components for multi-device compatibility.
- UI/UX Tools - Proficiency in tools like Figma or Sketch or similar for design and prototyping.
- User-Centered Design- Strong understanding of usability principles, user flows, and interaction patterns.
- Collaboration & Communication- Comfortable working in agile teams and communicating ideas with clarity.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 3–6 years of proven experience designing and developing user interfaces for web or mobile applications.
- Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX design work, especially projects involving responsive layouts and interactive elements.
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, with hands-on experience integrating design into functional web pages.
- Familiarity with version control tools (like Git) and collaboration workflows in agile teams.
