You’ll create visually stunning, narrative-driven videos that captivate and inspire our audience across platforms. What skills & experience do you need?
A Master Editor’s Toolkit:
- Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects. Strong proficiency in Photoshop/Illustrator as well.
- Expert skills in color grading and sound design [experience with DaVinci Resolve is a plus for color grading]
Proven Storytelling Expertise:
- 1-5 years of professional video editing experience with a portfolio that showcases strong ability to turn raw footage into compelling narratives. Strong knowledge and application of motion graphics is a must.
- Ability to enhance engagement and retention by applying precise pacing, balanced composition, and seamless visual transitions.
Leadership & Ownership:
- You bring initiative, accountability, and a willingness to support or guide others when needed. Experience in mentoring or managing teammates is a strong plus.
- A history of taking full ownership of projects, from conceptualization to final delivery, while consistently meeting deadlines.
Versatility Across Formats:
- Ability to edit a diverse range of content including live action footage, stock clips, motion graphics, etc.
- Comfortable producing content tailored for different platforms (long form videos, shorts/reels, etc.) while maintaining brand consistency. Ability to learn and unlearn to fit into the standards of editing at Headout.
AI Skills:
- Proficiency with generative AI tools (e.g., Midjourney, Runway AI, Krea AI, Kling AI, Hailuo AI, etc.) is a must for creating innovative video content.
