Job Description

Purpose of the role

To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues. 

Accountabilities

  • Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
  • Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
  • Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
  • Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.

To be successful as a ServiceNow Developer , you should have experience with:

 Basic/ Essential Qualifications:

  • Hands‑on ServiceNow development with focus on SecOps or VR module.
  • Strong expertise in JavaScript (server & client), Glide APIs, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub.
  • Independently design, implement, and support REST integrations, , and IntegrationHub flows—including authentication patterns (Basic/OAuth 2.0/JWT/Mutual TLS), pagination, throttling, and retries.
  • Build robust import pipelines (Scheduled Jobs, Scripted REST APIs, Transform Maps, Data Sources) with strong reconciliation logic (CI matching, correlation IDs) and back‑pressure controls.
  • Manage instance configuration (system properties, ACLs, roles/groups), data policies, retention/archiving rules, and scheduled maintenance tasks.
  • Experience integrating one or more vulnerability scanners (Tenable, Qualys, Prisma, Wiz, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of vulnerability management concepts (CVE, CVSS, CWE, remediation workflows).
  • Experience working with CMDB, Discovery, and asset management data models.
  • Ability to build dashboards, reports, remediation SLAs, and stakeholder‑specific workspaces.
  • Ability to perform performance and scale testing for high‑volume jobs and integrations; baseline before/after results and tune accordingly.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
  • ServcieNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
  • ServiceNow Vulnerability Response Implementer or SecOps certifications
  • Experience with SecOps modules (SIR, TI, CC)

You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as experience with, skills to meet business requirement as well as job-specific skillsets.

This role will be based out of Pune.
