As a ServiceNow HR Developer at Fortive, you will support the design, configuration, and enhancement of ServiceNow solutions that enable HR teams and employees to efficiently manage HR services. You will work closely with senior developers, product owners, and HR stakeholders to deliver features within the ServiceNow HR Service Delivery (HRSD) platform.

This role is ideal for a developer who has hands-on ServiceNow experience and is ready to deepen their skills in HR technology within a global enterprise environment. You will contribute to development efforts, participate in platform administration activities, and help maintain employee-facing experiences that improve service delivery.

RESPONSIBILTIES:

  • Configure and develop ServiceNow HRSD functionality, including Employee Service Center, Case and Knowledge Management, Onboarding and Transitions, Live Chat and Virtual Agent
  • Support day-to-day ServiceNow administration activities, including upgrades, releases, and maintenance tasks.
  • Develop and maintain application code, user interface components, and integrations under guidance from senior team members.
  • Perform configuration and customization using out-of-the-box ServiceNow capabilities, including business rules, Workflows / Flow Designer, Forms and UI policies
  • Assist with troubleshooting and resolving issues related to HRSD functionality.
  • Maintain and update employee-facing content to ensure clarity and usability.
  • Document configurations and development work to support maintainability and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with technical and functional partners to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Participate in team ceremonies, process workshops, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Maintain current ServiceNow knowledge through training and self-study.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

ROLE QUALIFICATIONS:

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 1 or more years of HR ServiceNow experience required
  • At least 2 or more years of ServiceNow experience required, preferably for a large global company.
  • Proven track record of delivering solutions utilizing the ServiceNow platform.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced technology environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or related field.
  • Experience with developing and configuring ServiceNow applications, including HRSD modules (HR Services, Lifecycle Events & Journeys, HR Profiles and Employee Center).
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, ACLs and ServiceNow Scripting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to HR processes or HR Shared Services environments.
  • Working knowledge of ServiceNow development best practices.
  • Experience supporting or enhancing existing ServiceNow implementations.
  • Basic understanding of integrations, data imports, and reporting.
  • Experiencing working in a global or distributed team environment.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
