Role Description
- You will lead the end-to-end implementation of ServiceNow solutions, driving delivery across complex transformation programmes within a global banking environment. You will work closely with product owners, architects, and engineering teams to design, build, and deploy scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions.
- This is a hands-on leadership role, where you will combine deep technical expertise with delivery ownership—ensuring that ServiceNow capabilities are implemented effectively, aligned to business outcomes, and compliant with regulatory requirements.

Your key responsibilities
- Shape and support the ServiceNow platform architecture roadmap, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy and shared goals
- Oversee platform design standards, helping teams collaborate and maintain consistent, inclusive and effective solutions
- Support solution design reviews, guiding data models and integration approaches to ensure strong, dependable outcomes
- Coordinate integration design across systems, ensuring secure, scalable and connected workflows that support business needs
- Strengthen platform resilience by supporting performance, security and operational continuity requirements
- Work closely with stakeholders to support innovation, automation and continuous improvement across the platform
- Lead end-to-end ServiceNow implementation, from requirements through to deployment and hypercare
- Translate business requirements into high-quality technical designs and implementable solutions
- Drive hands-on configuration, development, and integration across ServiceNow modules (ITSM, CMDB, ITOM, etc.)
- Own and govern solution delivery quality, ensuring adherence to development standards and best practices
- Lead integration implementation using APIs, events, and enterprise integration patterns
- Collaborate with architects to ensure alignment with target architecture and data models (e.g. CSDM)
- Support release management, deployments, and environment strategy
- Identify and deliver automation opportunities to improve efficiency and platform adoption
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues during implementation and post-go-live
- Mentor engineering teams and contribute to building a strong engineering capabilities
Your skills and experience
- Proven experience delivering ServiceNow implementations in large, complex environments
- Strong hands-on expertise across ServiceNow modules (ITSM, CMDB, ITOM, integrations)
- Deep understanding of ServiceNow development, configuration, and scripting
- Experience implementing integrations using REST APIs and event-driven architectures
- Strong knowledge of data modelling, CMDB/CSDM, and platform design principles
- Experience working in regulated environments (banking/financial services preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to lead delivery while remaining hands-on technically
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to drive issues to resolution
