Summary:
To ensure the software meets business and user requirements through end-user validation during the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase, accommodating extended working hours to meet tight deadlines and critical project timelines.
Responsibilities:
- Review and understand business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to prepare UAT scenarios.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to confirm expectations and scope for UAT.
- Develop UAT test plans, test scenarios, and test cases based on real-world use cases.
- Set up test environments with necessary data and configurations.
- Coordinate with technical teams to ensure readiness for UAT testing.
- Execute manual UAT test cases by mimicking end-user workflows.
- Validate system functionality, performance, and usability against business requirements.
- Identify and log issues that deviate from expectations.
- Report, track, and retest bugs using defect-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
- Collaborate with developers and business analysts to clarify issues and ensure resolution aligns with user needs.
- Act as a bridge between business users and technical teams during UAT.
- Assist business users in executing UAT and provide necessary guidance.
- Document and report UAT findings, including test coverage, identified defects, and sign-off readiness.
- Provide clear feedback on system quality and readiness for production deployment.
Skills:
- Overall 5+ years of experience in manual and UAT testing
- Strong grasp of business workflows and user expectations to design realistic test scenarios.
- Knowledge of manual testing practices, defect lifecycle, and UAT methodologies.
- Ability to identify issues from the user’s perspective and prioritize based on impact.
- Effective communication with business users, developers, and other stakeholders to bridge technical and non-technical gaps.
- Ensure thorough validation and ensure no critical issue is overlooked.
- Hands on working experience on Salesforce sales and CPQ
- Exposure to automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium) is a plus.
- Familiarity with testing tools like JIRA,
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and iterative UAT processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields (preferred).
Certifications:
- Advance ISTQB certification
- Salesforce administrator certification
