Job Purpose: The Site Head Projects-Tx is responsible for ensuring the successful completion of assigned projects secured through TBCB and other channels, meeting established timelines, cost parameters, and quality standards. This role is responsible for implementing new technological tools and initiatives to enhance project execution and management. The Projects Head Site will see each project through to completion, ensuring a smooth transition to Operations & Maintenance (O&M) upon handover. Additionally, the role includes benchmarking project management practices to uphold industry standards and a commitment to achieving zero harm, with strict adherence to safety protocols and processes.

Project Management:
Drive quality project execution by monitoring project progress against established benchmarks for cost, resources, and timelines, thereby achieving project milestones within approved budgets.
Ensure timely completion of specific projects by managing time, cost, resource allocation, and specifications.
Implement and standardize project management systems across locations by ensuring consistent execution and proper usage of these systems for all projects.
Report periodic data on project progress to the corporate office by maintaining comprehensive management information systems (MIS) and conducting monthly review meetings.
Compliance Management:
Ensure complete adherence to safety protocols by providing a safe work environment for all employees and workmen at the site.
Promote quality and safety compliance by guiding contractors on safety standards and enforcing departmental adherence to regulatory requirements.
Protect the company’s interests by effectively managing Right of Way (ROW) issues and securing necessary project clearances and approvals from relevant authorities.
Liaison and Stakeholder Management:
Maintain strong liaison with local government bodies and administration to ensure regulatory compliance and facilitate smooth project operations.
Build and nurture relationships with authorities (ROW, state administration, police, district collector, forest departments) by ensuring timely communication and securing necessary project clearances.
Support daily liaison activities by overseeing contractor engagements and site operations, thereby ensuring effective collaboration and communication among stakeholders.
Financial Management:
Ensure project adherence to the approved budget by monitoring expenses and managing resource allocation post-bidding.
Oversee cash flow and cost control measures by tracking project budgets to maintain financial efficiency.
Risk Management:
Minimize project disruptions by proactively identifying and assessing potential risks, implementing effective mitigation strategies to ensure project timelines and quality are maintained.
Enhance safety compliance by conducting regular site safety audits and training sessions, ensuring that all personnel are aware of and adhere to established safety protocols.
Technology Integration and Innovation:
Improve project execution efficiency by integrating advanced project management tools and systems, fostering seamless communication and collaboration among project teams.
Drive innovation in project delivery by encouraging the adoption of new technologies and best practices, resulting in optimized processes and enhanced project outcomes.
Team Management:
Provide leadership and guidance to foster a collaborative, results-driven team environment by enabling team members to achieve operational and financial targets.

Qualifications
Educational Qualification:
B.E./B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering.
Work Experience (Range of years):
15-20 years of experience in project management within the energy, utilities, or infrastructure sector, with at least 3 years in a leadership role overseeing large-scale projects.
At least 2 years of experience in site project management or project execution.
Strong understanding of safety, compliance, and environmental standards in the energy or utilities sector.
Experience implementing project management systems and best practices across multiple locations or project sites.
