SNOW Automation Developer (ServiceNow, ITSM, CSM, development, scripting)
Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer to join our IT team and play a key role in the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform and expertise in delivering scalable, high-quality workflows that enhance business efficiency
Scope:
In this role, you will be involved in working on automation tasks related to ServiceNow. The role may involve developing web and scripting-based automation solutions as well as CI/CD pipelines.
Primary Responsibilities:

Design and Development:
-
Develop and configure custom applications, workflows, and integrations on the ServiceNow platform.

Design, develop, and implement solutions leveraging ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, or SecOps.

Customization and Scripting:

Write and implement client scripts, business rules, UI policies, and other ServiceNow customization elements.

Leverage APIs and integration tools to connect ServiceNow with external systems.

Platform Administration:

Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and support for the ServiceNow platform.

Manage access controls, roles, and permissions to maintain platform security and integrity.

Collaboration:

Work with business analysts, stakeholders, and process owners to gather requirements and ensure solutions align with business needs.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement end-to-end workflows and integrations.

Testing and Troubleshooting:

Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting to ensure solutions meet functional and technical requirements.

Resolve platform issues and optimize performance.

Documentation and Training:
-
Create and maintain technical documentation for customizations, configurations, and workflows.

Provide training and support to end-users and internal teams as needed.
What we are looking for:
-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with a focus on implementing and customizing the platform.

Strong knowledge of ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, or SecOps.

Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and AngularJS.

Experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST, SOAP, or other APIs.

Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices.
Preferred
-
ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer, Certified Implementation Specialist).

Experience with ServiceNow Discovery, CMDB, or Service Mapping.

Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
