The Social Media Manager will blend creative storytelling and data-driven insights to develop and implement social media strategies that elevate brand presence, engage audiences, and drive measurable business results. This role requires a keen understanding of how to develop and optimize compelling content across platforms. Working cross-functionally, the Social Media Manager ensures consistent brand voice, timely execution, and continuous innovation in a fast-paced digital environment.

What you'll do here:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with brand and marketing goals

  • Assess and evaluate social media calendars across business units to determine best-fit content for master brand social channels

  • Assist in development and maintenance of master-brand social content calendar

  • Plan, create, and publish engaging content across platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok)

  • Handle day-to-day social media operations, including content calendars and posting schedules

  • Monitor social channels, respond to comments/messages, and foster meaningful audience engagement

  • Analyze performance metrics and optimize campaigns to improve reach, engagement, and conversion

  • Collaborate with creative teams, copywriters, and marketing stakeholders to produce high-quality content

  • Partner with internal teams to amplify campaigns, events, and key initiatives

  • Stay current on social trends, emerging platforms, and best practices to keep content fresh and relevant

  • Handle paid social campaigns in partnership with media teams, including targeting and performance tracking

  • Ensure brand consistency across all social media channels

  • Track competitor activity and identify opportunities for differentiation

  • Handle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Skills you will need here:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience leading social media for a brand, preferably in B2B or corporate environment, bonus points for familiarity with the education sphere.

  • Confirmed experience developing and implementing social media strategies and campaigns

  • Strong understanding of platform algorithms, trends, and standards

  • Experience with social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, native insights)

  • Basic knowledge of paid social media advertising and campaign optimization

  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and recommend improvements

  • Exceptional organization, time management, and multitasking abilities

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

The full base pay range has been provided for this position. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location.  Sales roles often incorporate a significant incentive compensation program beyond this base pay range.

$67,000.00 - $87,100.00 USD
