The Enterprise Application team is responsible for managing Yahoo's core financial systems alongside custom home-grown applications that support our global finance teams. We build and maintain high-velocity applications using Oracle R12, a combination of open-source software, and internal continuous integration tools like Screwdriver. We encourage new ideas, actively experiment with emerging technologies, and cultivate a team structure built on mutual trust, continuous learning, and shared technical growth.

About You
You are a proactive self-starter and problem solver who is committed to operational velocity, developer productivity, and overall product quality. You are an analytical troubleshooter who can prioritize and resolve complex technical challenges across varying timelines. You are self-driven, focused on understanding system mechanics deeply, and consistently look for ways to automate workflows at scale. You are comfortable working in an evolving, modern engineering landscape and look to incorporate advanced tools and methodologies to maximize your impact.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Oracle EBS R12 customizations, extensions, interfaces, and integrations with upstream systems and reporting platforms.

  • Partner with EBS functional specialists and business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into scalable technical solutions.

  • Perform performance tuning, troubleshooting, and code optimization while ensuring compliance with security and coding standards.

  • Own end-to-end delivery of software features in an Agile, globally distributed team environment.

  • Conduct code reviews, share technical knowledge, and mentor junior team members on Oracle R12 best practices.

  • Leverage AI development tools to accelerate Oracle R12 development, SQL/PLSQL coding, testing, and performance optimization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of Oracle EBS R12 and Oracle Cloud application development experience.

  • Strong expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Workflow, Forms, Reports/BI Publisher, OAF, and shell scripting.

  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Financial modules (AP, AR, PO, FA, GL, OIC, OCM).

  • Experience using AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor) to improve development productivity.

  • Ability to independently deliver technical solutions and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD tools (e.g., Screwdriver, Github Actions), and Agile development practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong developmental knowledge of Python, React, Node.js and Java for ERP system integrations.

  • Understanding of modern cloud infrastructure platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) and database interfaces.
