The Role

As a Software Engineering Architect at Kyndryl, you will be responsible for leading the charge in creating technical blueprints, defining product/solution architecture, and developing the technical specifications for our projects. You'll be a key player in integrating the features of our software applications into a cohesive and functioning system.
Your analytical and creative mindset will be put to the test as you anticipate trends, stay up-to-date on leading technology, and participate in Kyndryl's architectural boards. Your expertise will guide functional objectives and technologies, and you'll be a driving force in evaluating, identifying, and developing software solutions.
In addition to your technical prowess, you'll also be a strong leader and communicator, able to train and oversee the activities of our development team. You'll foster a collaborative environment and work closely with Marketing Managers, Product Managers, Programmers, and Engineers to ensure our software solutions are meeting the needs of our business and our customers.

• Solution Design and Architecture: Develop and design comprehensive solutions using Power Platform components including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Copilot Studio (Formerly known as Power Virtual Agents).

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business processes, and translate them into technical specifications.

• Project Leadership: Lead the end-to-end implementation of Power Platform solutions, ensuring they meet business needs and are delivered on time and within budget.

• Technical Expertise: Provide expert guidance on best practices for Power Platform development, integration, and deployment.

• Mentorship and Training: Mentor junior developers and conduct training sessions to upskill team members on Power Platform technologies.

• Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and performance of solutions through rigorous testing and adherence to development standards.

• Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest Power Platform features and updates, and incorporate them into solutions to drive continuous improvement.

• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot technical issues, and optimize existing solutions.

• Stay updated with the latest advancements in Power Platform, AI capabilities, and Copilot features.

• Ability to bridge gaps between business requirements and technical implementation.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform.

• Experience working in an Agile development environment and DevOps.

• Previous experience in a leadership or senior technical role.

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Azure services, AI Builder, RPA and Copilot Studio.

• Proven track record of delivering successful Power Platform projects in a consulting or enterprise environment.

• Experience in enterprise-scale digital transformation projects.

• Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert - PL600

• Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate – PL200

• Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate – PL400

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (preferred)

• Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 + Power Platform Solution Architect (preferred)

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience

• Experience with one or more automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform

• Experience with containerization packaging, tooling, and DevOps methodologies

• Experience in management and orchestration for distributed federated edge K8S clusters like Helm

• Understanding of computer networking and protocols
