Software Consultant

Your Role

• Agile Delivery & Backlog Management
  • Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with product and business goals.
  • Lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, and reviews
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with PMs/TPMs to align roadmap priorities and ensure technical feasibility.
  • Partner with Engineering Leads to estimate complexity, remove roadblocks, and clarify requirements during development.
  • Collaborate with QA, UX/UI, DevOps, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality, user-centric deliverables.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and tradeoffs clearly to stakeholders.
• Technical Focus
  • Understand architectural implications of features and act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Contribute to conversations about system design, integration, APIs, data modeling, and scalability.
  • Proactively identify and manage technical debt and dependencies.

• Provides technical leadership to project team members. Understanding of the software development life cycle and process improvement.
• Follows disciplined software development practices. Up-to-date on current and best practices and technologies related to software development and project management. Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive technical experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

 FlexPLM team need a Software Consultant who will work on designing new UIs for   FlexPLM and at the same time solve complex customer problems efficiently

Your Team

FlexPLM team is a young and dynamic team of software engineers with average exp. Of around 7-9 years and the candidate will be a great fit to this team and overall PTC

Your Day-to-Day

• Schedule, conduct and participate in design reviews
• Perform SCRUM ceremonies (Daily standup/Sprint Planning/Retro)
• Task Assignment in the Team
• Prepare work estimates for assigned tasks
• Provide ongoing feedback on deliverables
• Write well documented & performing code including source code documentation that meets organizational standards
• Solicit code reviews for your work.
• Acquire knowledge necessary to perform job assignments (technology, product and process)
• Provide timely and complete information and document reviews to the publications group
• Provide timely and complete information to the QA group to facilitate formal testing.
• Share technical information with the team and to a wider audience when appropriate
• Respond to requests for information in a timely manner
