What you will do:
• Development, implementation and support of Data Integration (ETL) to support different partners and different initiatives.• Work with the technology project teams to implement new functionality to support business needs.• Develop, maintain and support the data exchange process between GSI and email service provider to support campaign management ensuring data quality and integrity. • Importing client data files into Oracle (10g) databases.• Processing large data files in a UNIX environment.• Provide technical support and respond to error reports, problems or questions.• Adhere to defined SLA's for project delivery.
The skills you bring:
• Years of experience: 4+ years.• At least 4 years of technical experience with databases, data integration tools. • 4 years of experience with Talend Development , Integrations and support• Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting, java programming preferred but not essential.• Strong understanding of relational database concepts & technology - data modeling (dimensional/snowflake), SQL, query optimization.• Attention to detail and quality; excellent problem solving and communication skills.• Ability and willingness to learn new tools and applications.• Effective written and verbal communication skills with ability to convey complex technical concepts to business users and management
ETL tools - Talend Preferable or any equivalent
Any RDBMS experience, Oracle, MySQL preferred
Unix shell scripting
Strong understanding on Data integration concepts & technology Performance tuning.
The candidate should have worked on TALEND development project rather than production support projects as we are looking for candidate with good development experience on TALEND
