Software Development Engineer in Test Associate Director

The Information Technology group delivers secure, reliable technology solutions that enable DTCC to be the trusted infrastructure of the global capital markets. - DTCC offers a flexible/hybrid model of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote (onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays and a third day unique to each team or employee).
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
Your Primary Responsibilities:
- Define and drive test strategy across functional, regression, integration, performance, resiliency, and automation testing to ensure enterprise quality standards are met.
- Lead test automation initiatives by developing reusable frameworks, improving automation coverage, and promoting continuous quality practices
- Own release quality and production readiness, ensuring appropriate test coverage, regression execution, testing signoffs, and readiness approvals before production deployments.
- Provide leadership and mentoring to SDETs and test engineers while establishing testing standards, KPIs, and best practices.
- Partner closely with Agile squads, including Product Owners, Technology Leads, Developers, and Scrum Masters to define testable requirements and support sprint execution
- Ensure governance and compliance by maintaining traceability between requirements, test cases, defects, and test results while adhering to DTCC SDLC, risk, security, and audit requirements.
- Manage defects, risks, and quality metrics, driving issues to resolution and escalating risks that could impact delivery or production stability.
- Oversee non-functional testing, including performance, capacity, stress, resiliency, environment, and infrastructure testing to validate platform reliability and operational readiness

Talents Needed for Success:
- 5+ years of experience in data governance and metadata management
- 5+ years of development experience in Testing Automations, metadata management tools like Collibra, Atacama,
- 4+ years with ALM tools, Java/Python/ UNIX environments/SQL and Snowflake experience etc., relevant for testing automations
- Strong understanding of data cataloging, metadata management, data lineage, and data controls.
- Experience with data integration frameworks and governance tooling.
- Familiarity with AI-driven metadata enrichment and automation is preferred.
- Ability to handle teams in executing the testing frameworks across multiple projects
- Ability to quickly understand and adapt to new tools, platforms, and project requirements.
- Strong documentation skills for both technical and business audiences.
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with business, engineering, and leadership teams.
- Strong interpersonal, customer service, and verbal/written communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum).
- Proven ability to manage timelines and deliverables effectively.
