Join as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to improve and expand test automation infrastructure for our Smart Payment Terminals. This role focuses on automating test coverage, improving existing test frameworks, and ensuring high-quality releases through robust automation.
What you'll get to do...
- Improve current automated tests, address any gaps or bugs, and build new test suites from the ground up.
- Automate most tests with minimal manual intervention while seeking mentorship from senior SDETs when needed.
- Define and implement test cases for complex systems, ensuring coverage across functional, regression, and system testing.
- Design, develop, and complete mobile and API test automation scripts using Espresso, Appium, and RESTful API testing tools.
- Work on integrating test automation within CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth reliable automated test execution and work closely with developers, other SDETs, and QA teams to align automation efforts and improve overall test coverage.
Your experience should include...
- 3+ years of experience in software development or test automation.
- Strong programming experience, preferably in Kotlin and Java. Knowledge of Python or Shell scripting is a plus.
- Expertise in Android apps and/or testing frameworks preferably Espresso & Appium.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD automation and continuous integration testing.
- Ability to define and implement test cases for both complex and simpler systems and strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
You might also have...
- Experience with TestRail for test case management.
- Hands-on experience in Android OS testing and debugging.
- Familiarity with cloud-based test automation tools.
