This is a hybrid position based in Bangalore. You must be within a commutable distance from the location. You will be required to be onsite on an as-needed basis; when not working onsite, you will work remotely from your home location.
About the Role:
Works with the product development teams throughout the product life cycle to ensure software quality requirements and goals are established and met.
Responsible for automating functional and non-functional tests to deliver high-quality products and proactively identify and communicate roadblocks and evaluate and suggest alternatives.
You will be building partnerships and interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and the ability to collaborate with internal and external parties, including Dev and QA teams, program/product managers, and other project stakeholders.
You will be expected to be involved in some manual test efforts on projects that do not have automated testing.
About You:
You should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a software quality assurance role using manual/automated testing.
In-depth QA domain knowledge and strong QA concepts are a must with experience to perform functional and regression testing.
Must have work experience with scripting languages such as Python, programming languages like C++, and relational databases like SQL and knowledge of any automation framework
Platform expertise preferably includes any of the virtualized environments like VMWare ESX servers, vCenter, and so on.
Experience on both Windows and non-Windows platforms will be a plus, and prior security testing experience is nice to have.
Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP and their managed services (preferably GCP) with Jira, GitHub, etc.
