We are looking for a Software Engineer II to join our team of talented software engineers. You will be expected to work closely with product engineering and product management teams to help us build the best in class First party fraud detection and account Intelligence products for our customers.
What You’ll Do
Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Product, Engineering, Infrastructure, and Data Science—to design and develop new features and products in an Agile environment.
Write clean, high-quality, and maintainable code with a strong emphasis on performance and scalability, while receiving mentorship and support from senior engineers.
Tackle a wide range of complex technical challenges, with guidance and opportunities for continuous learning and growth.
Contribute actively to the design and implementation of backend systems and services.
Support the ongoing reliability of our systems by assisting in triaging and resolving production issues, and addressing bugs to ensure system stability.
A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, a related technical field
2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in backend software development.
Interest in and familiarity with our technology stack, including Java, SQL/NoSQL databases, and AWS.
Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals such as data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
Awareness of engineering best practices and a proactive mindset toward improving development standards, tools, and workflows.
Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies or programming languages as needed.
A customer-focused approach, with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively across teams and stakeholder groups.
Comfortable working in Agile, globally distributed, and cross-functional team environments.
