You'll be responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Implement Databricks integration and interoperability with other cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake, Immuta, and OpenAI.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Develop and maintain data product interfaces, data contracts, and governance frameworks.
- Monitor and optimize the performance and scalability of data products and infrastructure.
- Provide training and support to domain teams on data mesh principles and cloud data technologies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data mesh and cloud computing.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills :
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 2+ years applied experience
- Applied experience in Data Engineering space using enterprise tools, home grown frameworks and speciality in Databricks implementation from start to end.
- Experience with multiple cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Databricks, and Snowflake.
- Experience in Python programing is must
- Experience as a Databricks Engineer in an enterprise environment.
- Hands-on practical experience delivering application development, testing, and operational stability
- Deep working knowledge in SQL, Apache Spark, Delta Lake, DLT and other big data technologies
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Experience with Core Java is preferred
- Certification in Databricks data engineer associate/professional is nice to have
- Experience of working in a development teams, using agile techniques and Object Oriented development and scripting languages, is preferred.
