JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Software Engineer II, you will be working as a passionate and dedicated Full Stack .Net Developer in our L3 support team implementing solutions that support a wide range of customers. You will be involved in troubleshooting production issues, implementing bug fixes, improving system stability, rotational on-call support and performing minor enhancements in existing applications. You will also have the opportunity to bring your creative ideas to the table to deliver better solutions to our users.
Core Requirements and Responsibilities:
Essential job functions included but are not limited to the following:• Technical Expertise:
o Strong knowledge of product architecture, backend services, APIs, and database systems.
o Proficiency in debugging and resolving complex technical issues in .NET, SQL, or other relevant technologies.
o Hands-on experience with tools like Postman or other network and API troubleshooting tools.• Problem-Solving and Root Cause Analysis:
o Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
o Ability to perform root cause analysis and provide permanent fixes.• Monitoring and Logging Tools:
o Experience on monitoring tools such as AppDynamics and Dynatrace.
o Ability to interpret logs and alerts to identify issues.• Advanced Incident Resolution:
o Ownership on complex or escalated issues from L1/L2 teams.
o Provide technical solutions and workarounds, ensuring service restoration within SLAs.• Root Cause and Problem Management:
o Investigate recurring issues, identify root causes, and suggest long-term fixes.
o Involvement in problem management reviews and RCA documentation.• Documentation and Knowledge Base:
o Maintain detailed knowledge base articles, SOPs, and technical documentation.• Availability:
o Willingness to work in shifts or be part of on-call rotation for critical incidents.• Continuous Learning:
o Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve skills and knowledge
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:• Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.• Experience: 2-3 years of professional experience with .NET, T-SQL and common frameworks

• Technical Skills:
  • Programming languages: C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, T-SQL
  • Frameworks & libraries:
    • ASP.NET MVC / ASP.NET Core MVC
    • jQuery
    • Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)
    • ASP.NET Web API / ASP.NET Core Web API
  • Web Technologies: HTML & CSS
  • Databases: Microsoft SQL Server (TSQL)
    • Excellent knowledge on T-SQL programming
    • Excellent understanding of Microsoft SQL Server
    • Familiarity with SQL profiler.
    • Prepare queries to retrieve data from multiple tables based on the requirement.
    • Knowledge on SSIS Packages
    • Knowledge on preparing DML scripts
  • Source Control: git / GitLab and TFS
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive attitude

Preferred Skills:

• Understanding of API development.
• Understanding existed application code
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS.
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks like xUnit or NUnit or TDD for .NET applications.
• Proficiency in using Git for version control and collaboration.
