Own design and implementation for larger features/components, including testing strategy and rollout considerations.
Drive technical decisions within architectural boundaries; propose improvements where needed.
Lead debugging and incident triage for owned areas; implement durable fixes.
Raise engineering quality through strong reviews, refactoring, and improved development practices.
Mentor Level 1/2 engineers through pairing, design feedback, and review guidance.
Improve planning/estimation accuracy and delivery predictability through active participation.

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Proficiency in relevant programming languages and frameworks, e.g. C#, .NET.
Experience using AI to accelerate software development.
Strong fundamentals in software design, debugging, and maintainable coding practices.
Expertise building or consuming APIs, working with data stores, and operating production services.
Experience participating in estimation/planning.
Experience with cloud platforms, e.g. AWS, Azure.
Expertise with version control systems e.g. Git and defect-tracking tools e.g. Jira.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated growth mindset (self-driven learning, continuous improvement).
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and balance multiple priorities.
Ships complex work predictably with minimal supervision and high quality.
Becomes a go-to engineer for one or more functional areas through reliability and depth.
Improves team effectiveness through clearer designs, better estimates, and reusable patterns.
