Job Responsibilities
- Executes standard software solution, design, development, and technical troubleshooting
- Coordinate multiple microservice release (Hotfix/weekly releases) to higher environments (Multiple Test environments, Performance, Hotfix, and Production)
- Applies Scripting knowledge to automate the release process to improve efficiency
- Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain to improve the value realized by automation
- Gathers, analyzes, and draws conclusions from large, diverse data sets to identify problems and contribute to decision-making in service of secure, stable application development
- Learns and applies system processes, methodologies, and skills for the development of secure, stable code and systems
- Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software development in Python
- Proficient in one of the scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Shell) with Automation first mindset
- Experience with build tools and package managers (e.g., Docker, Maven, Poetry)
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and database technologies, such as SQL and NoSQL databases
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Exposure to agile methodologies such as CI/CD tools, Application Resiliency, and Security
**Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and Skills**
- Experience with Jenkins and/or Spinnaker is a plus
- High level understanding of container orchestration tools (like Kubernetes) is a plus
- Knowledge of Cloud (AWS Preferred)
- Excellent team, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
