Title:  Software Engineer II

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications on the Azure platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Work closely with architects to ensure seamless interaction of architectural components, meeting requirements and performance goals.
  • Implement best practices for cloud application development, focusing on scalability, security, and performance optimization.
  • Develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Java frameworks such as Spring Boot.
  • Utilize Azure services such as Azure App Service, Azure Key Vault, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Storage for application development and deployment.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot applications deployed on Azure, ensuring high availability and reliability.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in cloud computing and Java development.

WHAT YOU’VE DONE

We're in search of dynamic individuals with a degree in computer science or a related field, boasting extensive professional experience spanning 7 to 10 years in Full Stack Development. Our ideal candidates will possess expertise in Azure Cloud technologies and the Java programming language, coupled with a strong background in developing scalable, cloud-native applications. Additionally, candidates should excel in designing, developing, and deploying applications on the Azure platform while leveraging Java technologies. In addition to a solid technical foundation, we highly value attributes such as effective leadership, problem-solving prowess, and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges. If you embody these qualities, we'd love to hear from you!

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 7 to 10 years of comprehensive experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a focus on cloud-native application development.
  • Minimum of 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience in real-world enterprise product development.
  • Proficiency in Object-oriented design and development, with 4 to 5 years of experience in Java, Microsoft SQL Server, Spring, Spring Boot, Rest services, and Microservices, among other technologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of Azure Cloud services and platform capabilities.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines (Azure Pipelines, Jenkins) and infrastructure automation.
  • Strong experience with database development with SQL Server. Experience with advanced queries, stored procedures is expected.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a cloud environment.
  • Proficient in developing with test automation frameworks such as JUnit, JMeter, Selenium/Nightwatch JS, or similar tools.
  • Working experience with Code Quality tools like Sonar or Snyk is preferred.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Adept at managing deadlines, effective communication within a team, and capable of operating independently with guidance when necessary.
  • Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Developer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.
  • Knowledge or experience in the Insurance domain is considered an added advantage.
