Software Engineer II

• Deep hand-on experience with proven designing and programming skills in Java. Spark, Python are good to have
• Ability to understand the software code flows and how it interacts with different components.
• Hands-on experience on creating & maintaining CI/CD pipelines, GitLab jobs, pipeline orchestration/scheduling
• Solution-oriented mindset, with an ability to build, maintain Java/Python based utility to automate software tests and test process to eventually create effort savings.
• Troubleshooting quality issues and modifying test procedures
• Develop In depth understanding of domain specifications along with technical know-how on Software Development Processes.
• Understand system architecture and handle technical communications with development teams
• Team player, support team with technical expertise in complex problem solving, utility building.
• Knowledge on AWS cloud computing and code generation with AI is a huge plus
• Identify areas of improvement in test process. Suggest, implement solutions
• Assist in building automation libraries supporting the test automation framework with the objective to improve the Software Quality process
• Collaborate with cross functional groups including Engineering, Architecture & Feature teams to build and maintain test utilities and processes

• Bachelor’s degree (4/5 years - professional college: Technical / Engineering streams) with major/minor in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Computer Science/ Engineering or related science/technology field
• 3+ Years of development experience in Java (Python, JavaScript are good to have).
• Ability to solve complex test automation and solutioning tasks beyond standard capabilities of test automation tools
• Hands on experience with IDE’s like Eclipse, IntelliJ etc, and Maven is required
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Gitlab is required.
• Cloud architecture understanding and implementation experience is good to have
• Effective problem-solving and analytical skills with Good written and verbal communication skills
• Innovative mindset with an ability to proactively come up with technical solutions
• Exposure and hand-on with AI based tools viz. Github Copilot is good to have
