Roles and Responsibilities:-
- Design and implement new features for our Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into high-quality code.
- Optimize application performance and ensure a smooth user experience across various devices.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to maintain application stability.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in Android development and incorporate them into our projects.
- Continuously improve development processes and tools to enhance team productivity.
- Work with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Fastlane for automated builds and deployments.
- Utilize Hilt/Dagger2 for dependency injection
Experience and Qualifications:-
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of professional experience in Android development.
- Proficiency in Kotlin programming language.
- Experience with Jetpack Compose for building modern UIs.
- Familiarity with RoomDatabase for local data storage.
- Solid understanding of Android SDK, architecture components, and other relevant libraries.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have the ability to understand and fix existing codebase.
- Passion for learning and staying updated on emerging technologies and best practices in mobile development.
Nice to have
- Experience with other Android technologies such as Retrofit, Flow, RoomDB, Coroutines, and LiveData.
- Knowledge of KMP / KMM
- WebView integrations on Android apps
- Working with native app sensors
- Contributions to open-source projects or personal projects showcased on GitHub.
- Familiarity with other CI/CD tools and platforms.
- Understanding of software design patterns and architecture principles.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Espresso or Mockito.
