Job Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end application and infrastructure service delivery for successful business operations.
- Execute policies and procedures ensuring engineering and operational stability.
- Monitor production environments for anomalies and address issues using standard observability tools.
- Escalate and communicate issues and solutions to business and technology stakeholders.
- Lead incident, problem, and change management in support of full stack technology systems.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience.
- Proficiency on AWS Cloud Platform, with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools, such as Terraform and Helm chart.
- Experience in designing, deploying, and managing Kubernetes clusters across various environments.
- Experience in Kubernetes, Terraform, Python, and Shell scripting technologies.
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery tools like Jenkins.
- Ability to set up monitoring, logging, and alerting for Kubernetes clusters using Grafana, Prometheus, and Splunk.
- Strong SQL skills; PostgreSQL, AWS RDS, Aurora, Teradata is preferred but experience in any other RDBMS technology would suffice.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Having Databricks knowledge is an added advantage.
- Ability to lead by example and guide the team with technical expertise.
- Ability to identify risks/issues for the project and manage them accordingly.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, AWS RDS, Aurora, or Teradata preferred.
