Job Description

An MES (Manufacturing Execution System) Java Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that integrate manufacturing equipment and processes with enterprise systems such as MES, ERP. Build robust Java applications to support MES functionalities, including real-time data acquisition, equipment integration, and process automation. Analyse, designs, programmes, debugs, and modify software enhancements or new products used in local, networked, or Internet-related computer programmes. Code may be used in commercial or end-user applications, such as materials management, financial management, HRIS or desktop applications products. Using current programming language and technologies, writes code, completes programming, and performs testing and debugging of applications. Complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. May work with users to define system requirements or necessary modifications. To be involved at all stages of the development life cycle: initial analysis, implementation, testing, debugging and support. You will be reporting to the Engineering manager.
 

Your Responsibilities:

• To deliver code which is well tested and error free
• Conduct system-wide tests provide customer and user technical support, and monitor system performance to ensure that software programmes are operating
• Work with project team members to coordinate the development process and meet project deadlines
• Respond promptly to bug reports
• Guide junior technical resource
• Code following specified standards, pseudo code, comments, unit testing
• 1+ years of experience with software technology, database, FTPC/FTPS, EIG, FTVP, Reporting, OS.
• Develop modular solution
• Instal and configure FTPC/FTPS / VantagePoint and related software components
• Understand ERP, SAP-FTPC integration
• Configure and implement EIG/EIH and Middleware solution
