As a Software Engineer Lead within PNC's Digital Home Lending organization, you will be based in Florida.
Business hours except during late night releases ~6x a year.

The Technical Lead Developer role is responsible for guiding the design, development, and delivery of scalable enterprise applications and services. This includes hands-on development with a strong emphasis on microservices, micro-applications, API integration, and complex database systems. The role requires deep technical expertise, a focus on maintainable and secure code, and the ability to balance strategic architecture with day-to-day execution.
In addition to technical contributions, the lead developer acts as a mentor, fostering growth within the development team and promoting best practices. The position requires strong collaboration across teams, ownership of large-scale projects, and the ability to drive continuous improvement and innovation in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description
  • Creates and leads the technical design and development of software solutions.
  • Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs. Prepares technical and procedural documentation required.
  • Facilitates complex problem resolution.
  • Provides technical guidance and support to colleagues. Reviews coding, testing, and documentation of software.
  • Applies modern principles, methodologies and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities.
