Software Engineer - Zoho Developer - On the Job Trainee

Trainees work with senior developers on live client projects, create technical and business content, and support HTML email templates and landing pages. The program is remote, full-time, and may lead to a permanent Zoho Developer role.

We are looking for enthusiastic and career-oriented B.Tech and MCA students/pass-outs from anywhere in India who are interested in building a long-term career in SaaS implementation, business automation, and Zoho development.
This is a structured on-the-job training program designed to provide real-world exposure to Zoho implementation, client handling, automation consulting, and business process transformation. This is not an internship or part-time assignment.
Selected candidates will work closely with senior developers and consultants on live client projects and will receive hands-on exposure to the Zoho ecosystem.
- This is a full-time training and work opportunity. We are not looking for part-time applicants.
- The role involves client interaction through online and occasional in-person meetings.
- Applicants should possess strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills along with technical aptitude.
1. Client Interaction & Meetings
- Attend online client meetings and discussions along with senior consultants.
- Participate in requirement gathering sessions and business discussions.
- Join in-person client meetings whenever required. (Can be in different cities)
- Support client communication and follow-ups professionally.
- Assist in implementation and customization of Zoho applications.
- Support workflow automation, integrations, and business process configuration.
- Work with senior developers on live implementation projects.
- Understand client business workflows and operational challenges.
- Assist in preparing Scope of Work (SOW), Business Requirement Documents (BRD), and implementation documentation.
- Translate business requirements into structured technical tasks.
- Participate in Zoho product demonstrations for prospective clients (training will be provided).
- Assist in explaining platform capabilities and automation solutions.
- Create technical documentation, case studies, blogs, and implementation notes using AI tools.
- Support creation of HTML email templates, landing pages, and related business content.
Requirements
Eligibility Criteria
- B.Tech / BE (Computer Science / IT / Electronics), MCA, or equivalent technical qualification.
- Candidates from Mumbai or Navi Mumbai preferred.
- Freshers and recent pass-outs are welcome to apply.
- Basic understanding of programming, web technologies, or scripting.
- Familiarity with HTML, APIs, or databases is an advantage.
- Interest in SaaS platforms, CRM systems, and business automation.
- Ability to learn new technologies and tools quickly.
- Exposure to AI tools for documentation or content creation is a plus.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Ability to interact confidently with clients and internal teams.
- Professional attitude and willingness to learn in a client-facing environment.
- Must own a laptop and have stable internet connectivity with WIFI (No mobile data).
- Ability to work from a professional environment during remote meetings.
- Open to occasional travel for client meetings if required.
- Must be fluent in Hindi and proficient in English verbal communication.
