So, what’s the role all about?

As a full-stack Professional Services Software Engineer, you will use cutting edge development tools and techniques to build and enhance applications and processes which extend the functionality of our core platform. In this position, you will assist the team by building applications; troubleshooting and diagnosing issues; testing and deploying applications; and, creating and improving automated processes.

The Professional Services Engineering team ensures our customers receive maximum value from our products by customizing, optimizing, and automating customer and internal processes and applications. We regularly work with big data, a variety of analytic models, AI and machine learning, and the latest services from AWS. The work is challenging and rewarding.   • How will you make an impact?  

    • Design, build, deploy, and enhance multi-tenant cloud software applications that provide critical functionality to our customers
    • Build server-side software using Java (Spring Boot) or Node.js
    • Create front-end user interfaces using React.js, leveraging modern JavaScript (ES6+) and state management libraries such as Redux or Context API
    • Create integrated processes using APIs and cloud computing
    • Develop responsive and performant UI components using React frameworks like Next.js or Material-UI.
    • Create integrated processes using RESTful APIs, cloud computing, and containerized microservices.
    • Work with Docker to build, deploy, and manage scalable applications.
    • Automate CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to streamline software delivery.
    • Analyze and compile data, codes, and processes to identify areas of improvement and to resolve issues
    • Work jointly with other product and development teams to create cohesive, functional applications
    • Work jointly with account teams to understand customer requirements and design best-fit solutions
    • Maintain thorough documentation of requirements, deliverables, timelines, progress, meeting minutes, and internal notes
    • Continuously evaluate and improve processes to increase efficiency and performance
    • Present project updates, outcomes, and recommendations to stakeholders and members of leadership


    Have you got what it takes?

    • Strong understanding of programming techniques and tools, as well as the web development cycle
    • Prior experience with enterprise backend development using Java or Node.js
    • Prior experience designing and building software applications which use RESTful APIs
    • Proficiency in front-end development using React.js, including hooks, state management (Redux, Context API), and component-based architecture.
    • Experience with React frameworks such as Next.js, Material-UI.
    • Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
    • Functional understanding of REST APIs and JSON, preferably also SOAP APIs and XML.
    • Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries.
    • Experience with version control (Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket).
    • Experience with application architecture stacks, including API layer, business logic, data modeling, hosting, network, and UI/UX.
    • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments and orchestration.
    • Experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
    • Effective communication in English, with excellent verbal and written presentation and facilitation skills.
