The Software Engineer will develop Salesforce Service Cloud applications focusing on Apex and LWC, design solutions, and optimize performance while ensuring best practices in code and deployment.

Salesforce Service Cloud Developer – Level 25
Technical Expertise
- 2-3 years of Salesforce experience focused on Salesforce Service Cloud
- Strong proficiency in Apex (classes, triggers, batch, schedulable, queueable jobs) and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
- Expertise in Salesforce Flows, Process Builder (migration to Flow), and advanced declarative automation.
- Experience with Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP, Bulk, Metadata) and integrations with external systems.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data model and security model (profiles, roles, sharing rules, permission sets).
- Solid understanding of Case Lifecycle, Entitlements, Milestones, and Omni-Channel routing.
- Proficiency in SOQL/SOSL and handling large data volumes (LDV). Good experience on Service Cloud
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce deployment & release management (Change Sets, SFDX, Git-based deployments).
- Knowledge of Salesforce best practices, including governor limits, bulkification, error handling, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with Salesforce managed/unmanaged packages, AppExchange solutions, and platform events.
- Experience in unit testing (>= 75% coverage) and writing maintainable, reusable code.
Architecture & Design
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Experience designing modular, reusable components in LWC.
- Good knowledge of integration patterns (Platform Events, External Services, Named Credentials, Middleware tools like Mulesoft).
- Exposure to Salesforce Shield is nice to have.
- Familiarity with CTI platforms will be good to have.
Tools & DevOps
- Experience with Salesforce DX, VS Code, Git, CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with sandboxes and environment strategy.
- Experience with monitoring/debugging tools (Debug logs, Event Monitoring, Health Check).
- Experience with tools like Data Loader, Workbench, etc.
Soft Skills
- Excellent analytical skills, problem-solving technique, debugging/trouble-shooting skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Strong commitment to quality, documentation, and best practices.
Certifications
- Salesforce Administrator Certification and Salesforce Platform Developer Certification required; Service Cloud Consultant certification strongly preferred.
