Job Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our team in Pune. This role requires a strong background in quality assurance, particularly in testing software solutions built on the Salesforce Platform or those integrating with Salesforce APIs. Experience with Configure-Price-Quote (CPQ) solutions like Salesforce CPQ or Conga (formerly Apttus) is highly desirable. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and quality of our CPQ implementations.
What you will do
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure high-quality software releases.
- Develop and execute test code for integration software built by the Back Office Middleware team.
- Work with IT, Marketing, Finance, Sales, and Product teams to troubleshoot integration issues and propose solutions.
- Automate repetitive tests using Selenium, Playwright, or similar tools to generate detailed reports.
- Design and implement test systems to validate custom code, ensuring performance and reliability.
- Write detailed test plans and cases based on business and functional requirements.
- Define test scope, provide accurate estimates, and ensure thorough coverage.
What you will have
- Hands-on experience testing Salesforce-based solutions (Apex, SOQL, APIs, Lightning, Visualforce, Flows, Sandboxes).
- Familiarity with Salesforce CPQ, Conga/Apttus, or similar CPQ solutions (preferred).
- Experience with browser automation testing using Selenium, Playwright, or similar technologies.
- 2-3 years of QA experience with strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to identify, articulate, and document software defects clearly.
- Strong communication skills to provide updates on testing progress and issues.
- Proficiency in at least one QA automation language (TypeScript, JavaScript, Node, Apex, Go, Python).
- Knowledge of software development methodologies and version control systems (Git, branching, pull requests).
- Experience with Unix, Linux, and Windows environments.
- Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
