In this role, you will focus on building a next generation network security platform. This is a greenfield initiative where you’ll help define the architecture, drive innovation, and build secure, scalable systems that bridge networking and security in the cloud. You’ll work closely with a world-class team of engineers and Product leaders to deliver high performance, policy-driven access, and connectivity solutions.

Be a Contributor—What You’ll Do

  • Design comprehensive test strategies for cloud networking solutions, including validating IPSec tunnels, SSL VPNs, and secure overlay networks across hybrid and multi-cloud deployments
  • Develop and maintain advanced automated tests, such as API, integration, endto-end, and performance, using any one of modern languages and tools like Python
  • Collaborate closely with Development, Product, and Platform teams to define quality goals for SASE-adjacent features such as identity-aware access, policy enforcement, and edge security
  • Drive continuous quality improvements by integrating automated testing and quality gates into CI/CD pipelines and observability stacks, including GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Prometheus, and Grafana
  • Lead technical test design reviews, mentor QA engineers, and champion best practices for testability, reliability, and security verification
  • Integrate with major cloud providers like AWS, GCP, and Azure to enable automated, policy-driven quality validation for cloud services and infrastructure
  • Investigate, evaluate, and introduce emerging QA technologies and methodologies, such as chaos engineering, shift-left security, and AI-driven testing, to ensure world-class product quality

Be Prepared—What You Bring

  • 3 or more years of experience developing functional and end-to-end tests using Python.
  • Track record in developing highly maintainable functional and end-to-end tests for microservices architectures
  • Strong hands on with Kubernetes
  • Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines
  • Capacity to develop modular and maintainable test harnesses
  • Document test execution issues and deliverables
  • Knowledge of test frameworks (pyTest preferred)
  • Good understanding of REST APIs and building integrations using the programmable interfaces
  • Experience with a few of these technologies is highly preferred—Agile lifecycle, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, JIRA, and Git

First 90 Days: Immerse in our culture, connect with mentors (Blox Buddies), and map the systems and meet with key stakeholders that rely on your work. Discuss and create short/long term goals.

Six months: You will have deep product knowledge, establish automation frameworks, and actively contribute to SD-WAN and cloud networking quality initiatives.

One year: Be a recognized technical leader driving end-to-end test strategy, mentoring peers, and shaping quality practices for new product features and customer-impacting solutions.
