What you’ll achieve
We're building our R&D capabilities in India and need a seasoned architect to own DevOps and Security for our Lightning product. This is a unique role that blends product ownership with deep technical expertise - you'll define strategy, drive execution, and work hands-on to build automated, secure systems that scale globally.
You'll collaborate closely with our France team on DevOps practices while working across geographies to establish comprehensive security for Lightning - covering both product security and internal infrastructure. This is an individual contributor role with significant autonomy and influence across the organization.
You will:
- Own the DevOps and Security roadmap for Lightning as a Product Owner - defining priorities, managing stakeholders, and driving execution. Design and implement end-to-end security architecture for both the Lightning product and supporting infrastructure.
- Build automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines that enable rapid, reliable delivery across global teams. Work hands-on, architecting solutions, writing code, and solving complex technical challenges
- Collaborate with teams across global teams to align on DevOps practices and tooling strategies. Establish security standards, compliance frameworks, and best practices across development and operations. Drive security assessments, threat modeling, and vulnerability management programs.
- Partner with engineering teams globally to embed security and DevOps excellence. Influence technical decisions and build consensus across distributed teams without formal authority. Stay ahead of emerging threats, tools, and practices in DevOps and security domains

Essential Requirements
- 14+ years of experience spanning DevOps, security, and infrastructure with a track record of building scalable systems. Deep expertise in both DevOps practices (CI/CD, automation, infrastructure as code) and security (product security, infrastructure security, compliance). Hands-on experience with modern DevOps toolchains and security frameworks.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, containerization, and orchestration technologies. Experience with security practices including threat modeling, vulnerability management, secure SDLC, and compliance frameworks.
- Product ownership experience - you know how to define roadmaps, prioritize work, and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Proven ability to work effectively across global teams spanning multiple time zones and cultures. Strong communication skills - you can translate technical complexity into clear business value. Self-directed with the ability to drive initiatives from concept to completion.
Desirable Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
