Your Team:
We are a world-class team of engineers working on Vuforia Engine, a market-leading mobile Augmented Reality (AR) platform powering PTC’s AR product portfolio. We love developing easy-to-use, high-performance, robust software solutions to address the real-world challenges of our customers using AR. Our team has a diverse skill set including developing computer vision algorithms and machine learning, coding for multiple mobile and digital eyewear platforms, and testing our software in a wide range of environments
Your Impact:
Vuforia Engine is the leading AR platform. Our technology has been adopted by a global ecosystem of around 1 Million developers and partners, who have developed more than 100K applications for consumer and industrial use on a range of handheld and head mounted devices. The Vuforia Engine SDK also powers all of PTC’s Industrial AR suite, including Vuforia Chalk, Expert Capture, Instruct, Studio and others. As a Devops and Release Engineer, you will continuously measure, analyze and design improvements for a state-of-the-art continuous integration and delivery pipeline. This infrastructure is key to developing, building, testing and releasing our Vuforia augmented reality engine in a wide range of environments including desktop and mobile platforms.
Your Day-To-Day:

Ensure that the Vuforia Engine release process is running smoothly

Implement and improve continuous integration and deployment infrastructure, using virtualized infrastructure, mainly Azure and Docker
-
Improve monitoring and reporting processes, making sure all the systems are up and running
-
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our development, test and production environments

Complete regular upgrades of software tools
Your Skills and Knowledge:
-
Experience of use and administration of the Git version control system
-
Knowledge of working with Linux, Windows and macOS
-
Experience with maintaining and managing a CI/CD system like GitHub Actions or GitLab
-
Experience with configuration management and containerization tools like Ansible and Docker
-
Experience with creating continuous integration and deployment pipelines and tools like GitHub Actions, TeamCity or GitLab
-
Experience with provisioning, monitoring and maintaining CI/CD infrastructure on a cloud providers like Azure
-
Working to create and maintain Python scripts. , Golang and shell scripting skills will be beneficial skills

Proficiency in Linux, Windows and macOS system administration

Experience of use and administration of the Git version control system

Good verbal and written communication in English
