About the team:
Perform specialized level software project activities in areas such as Development, Tools, Test, Requirements, and/or related areas for medical devices. Analyze requirements, plan, and schedule data, update and maintain different software specifications based on analysis of specifications, needs and improvements, and/or code based on strategic analysis. Exercise level appropriate technical judgement in planning, organizing, performing and/or coordinate engineer work. Work collaboratively to understand the clinical requirements of the software products and create test designs specific to those requirements. Create automated test designs and test scripts using Python, to simulate clinical workflows related to cardiac arrhythmias by applying knowledge and understanding of medical device testing in Class II medical Devices such as ICD’s, Pacemakers. Conduct formal reviews of test designs and test scripts to comply with Quality Management Systems. Execute tests cases using various in-house and COTS tools.
Mandatory requirements:
- Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science
- 10+ years of software test automation experience
- Well-versed in Java, Python, and batch / shell scripting
- Demonstrated ability using Selenium WebDriver for UI automation
- Experience using TestNG / JUnit for end-to-end test automation
- Experience with RDBMS (PostgreSQL / Oracle SQL) and leveraging JBDC for managing database connectivity
- Experience simulating and validating RESTful APIs using RestAssured and Postman
- Experience working with Azure IoT hub, DPS, and storage accounts
- Experience with Git, BitBucket, JIRA for source control, code review, and issue tracking
- Comfortable with Windows / Linux CLI and SSH / SFTP tooling (PuTTY, FileZilla, WinSCP)
- Ability to work within and contribute enhancements to existing automation framework
- Understanding of Maven dependency management, CLI, and build lifecycle
- Strong grasp of SDLC, defect life cycle, and Agile / Scrum methodologies
- Knowledge of test management tools, including remote test execution via VDI
- Ability to interpret technical requirements as code
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interface between technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Passion for learning new technologies and contributing enhancements to existing team processes
Good to have:
- Ability to build custom tooling and documentation for manual testers
- Hands-on working experience in ClearQuest, DOORS
- Capability to leverage Generative AI for script generation
- Professional experience in medical device / patient data management domain
