The Solutions Architect for iRetail is responsible to design and deliver features, which spans its backlog across multiple squads. In the journey to deliver business value through these features, the SAs are expected to hone new skills and digital capabilities.
The responsibilities
- Envision, design, review and prototype solutions
- Application workflow definition
- Sales presentations
- Build expertise in 2-3 technologies
Experience and skills
- Experience in solution architecture, pre-requisite by product development, customer engagement and operational roles as a techno-domain specialist, with experience in multiple technologies.
- Industry experience with exposure to Airline Retailing reference architecture and IATA Offer and Order principles.
- Proficiency in defining, building, and testing complex digital solutions and integrations within the airline commercial technology space.
- Ability to coordinate requirements workshops, conduct customer interviews, and present to senior audiences.
- Experience working closely with business users, architects, UX designers, and development teams.
- Strong hands-on awareness in product development including operations.
- Apply best in class technology to solution design for the problem domain
- Strong adherence to Design principles
- Effective communicator and organizer
Preferred skills/areas of knowledge
Exposure to NDC and ONE Order systems, merchandising solutions, fare shopping & pricing engines, PSS, CRM, airline revenue management systems, dynamic pricing systems, personalization and recommendation engines, and payment systems.
