The Position
We are looking for a highly motivated individual for the position of Solution Architect to join the Product Development, Approval and Licence Management domain. You will be working in the Product Development Application Licence & Maintenance Domain specific to Clinical Trial Execution Product Line that enables Study Startup & Conduct, Clinical Site and Investigator Engagement, Patient Discovery, Engagement and Retention, Risk Based Quality Management, Informed Consent and Digital Health Management.

Your responsibilities include:

Designing solutions according to enterprise standards

Architecture review of currently existing solutions to ensure continuous improvement

Research, evaluation, proof of concepts and adoption of new technologies

Designing non-functional requirements and implementation review to identify gaps between design and code
-
Keep up to date on new industry and emerging technologies which can provide advantages and groundbreaking innovations & benefit the business

Drive the identification of the most appropriate solution for Roche through formal RFI/RFP/RFQ (Request for Information/Proposal/Quotation) processes. Evaluate feasibility of potential solutions in collaboration with business users and Subject Matter Experts

Hands-on experience in cloud technologies like AWS

Hands-on experience in data visualization like Tableau, Qlik view etc

Seeking opportunities to create additional value and improve business processes

Experience in architecting, building, maintaining, and operating enterprise-grade systems/applications
We need a passionate person who has:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience with 5-8 years of professional IT experience in a major, global organization
-
At least 3 years’ experience in at least two IT disciplines in a client/server or service-oriented architecture
-
Experience in the pharmaceutical industry
-
Experience in Clinical Trials Data is a plus
-
Experience in AWS Services like RedShift, Athena, S3, EC2 etc
-
Experience with SAFe or any other lean-agile framework is a plus

Strong communication skills

Negotiation skills, long term and strategic thinking without losing the actual needs, teamwork and fast integration into bigger teams

Experience in working in a multicultural and international environment

Advanced English reading, writing, listening and speaking skills
