Test Engineer/Sr Test Engineer
Experience – 5-10 Yrs CARGO DOMAIN EXPERIENCE IS A MUST with good communication skills
IBS is looking for skilled test engineers with prior experience in Airline Cargo domain, experience in Airline Cargo Joint Venture business is added advantage. Candidates should have good understanding of testing process and need to be hand-on. This role requires creating test specifications based on the requirements, working closely with customer team, well acquainted with Test execution process, Defect Logging and reporting.
Responsibilities include
- Ability to understand the functionality of the application under test
- Identify and define the test specifications based on the requirements
- Needs to have good understanding of testing and defect triage processes
- Prior work experience in Agile scrum or SAFe is an advantage
- Testing Tools: Xray, ReadyAPI, Microfocus ALM, JIRA, trackSpace
- Knowledge of backend service testing with ReadyAPI or Postman, API debugging/root cause analysis
- Knowledge of microservice architecture and cloud database
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline (GIT etc)
- Experienced and exposed to Test Execution at different test levels (viz., SAT, SIT, UAT etc)
Responsibilities for the Role:
- Analyze user stories and design/develop Test Models and Test cases
- Experience with execution of automated scripts using in trend automation tools, LCNC frameworks
- Proficient with databases, good knowledge of writing SQL
- Execute automated backend regression test suites in pipeline for iterations and PROD releases
- Present tested feature within iteration reviews and system demos
- Attend and actively participate in PI Plannings
- Participate all sprint planning, pre- and post sprint release ceremonies
- Meet with developers and BAs for quick hand-off demonstrations and share the iteration demos with the devs
- Onshore experience-interacting with customer, UAT experience is added advantage
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor degree (BE or BTech) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent;
- Certification in testing skills desirable. ISTQB certification is an added advantage.

Location – Bangalore, Cochin, Chennai and Trivandrum.
