Arena, a PTC Business, is seeking a talented and motivated UX/UI Designer to join our growing team in Pune, India. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the user experience and interface of our cloud-based PLM and QMS solutions, collaborating closely with teams in the US and Suzhou to ensure consistency and innovation across platforms.

As a UX/UI Designer at Arena, you will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and designers to create, refine, and enhance web-based digital experiences. Our design team is committed to delivering high-quality PLM software through a user-centered approach. We seek a designer with a strong UX foundation, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to craft innovative, modern solutions for complex challenges. In this role, you will shape intuitive, scalable design solutions that uphold Arena’s global design standards and deliver outstanding user experiences for customers worldwide.

• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and designers across our US and Suzhou teams to identify user needs and define product requirements.
• Participate in design discussions and collaborative sessions with the global UX team.
• Create and refine designs and prototypes to communicate design solutions to product managers and engineers.
• Present design work effectively, clearly articulating user needs and supporting UX recommendations.
• Advocate for users by balancing user impact, business needs, and project constraints in all recommendations.
• Communicate technical details clearly and accessible manner.
• Engage in design library development, including refinement and documentation of components to ensure consistency and quality across all products.
• Stay current with design trends and technologies to deliver modern, innovative solutions.  
• Ensure alignment of Pune’s team’s design efforts with Arena’s global design system and standards.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Portfolio or samples demonstrating user-centric UI/UX design research.
• 3-5 years of experience with Figma.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to “pixel-perfect” designs.
• Strategic thinker with solid problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and influence abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project needs.
