As a Specialty Product Analyst within Trade and Working Capital Operations, you manage day-to-day operations for trade finance products while maintaining strong risk and control standards. You provide transactional expertise across trade finance activity such as import and export bills, foreign bill collection, banker’s acceptances and reimbursements, letters of credit, open account trading, standby letters of credit, and bank guarantees in line with International Chamber of Commerce guidelines and internal procedures. You partner with business stakeholders to support migrations and new deals, continuously improving processes to deliver accurate and timely outcomes.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations for trade finance products and transaction control activities
- Process transactions within agreed service-level agreements, maintaining accuracy and timeliness
- Maintain standard operating procedures and update documentation when process changes occur
- Implement best practices to improve efficiency and strengthen operational execution
- Coordinate engagement on new deals, project management calls, and smooth migrations
- Enforce adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and trade finance policy standards
Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities:
- Bring 5+ years of experience in trade finance operations, including standby letters of credit and bank guarantees
- Apply strong knowledge of International Chamber of Commerce rules and practices, including URDG 758, ISP98, UCP 600, and ISBP
- Interpret sanctions and compliance requirements, including Office of Foreign Assets Control obligations and anti-boycott regulations
- Demonstrate understanding of risk management, transaction processing, trade settlements, and trade processing across retail and wholesale banking contexts
- Manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining quality and control discipline
- Analyze issues using strong problem-solving skills to drive timely resolution
- Communicate clearly and professionally with stakeholders across the business and operations teams
- Exhibit consistent accountability, strong work ethic, and commitment to continuous learning and business objectives
Preferred qualifications, skills, and capabilities:
- Hold a professional certification such as CSDG, CSGP, ISP Master, URDG Master, or an equivalent industry-recognized qualification
- Developing experience using AI-powered analytics, workflow automation, or intelligent process tools to drive efficiency gains, reduce manual effort, or improve accuracy in operational processes.
