What You’ll Be Doing:
Essential functions
- Active involvement in day-to-day operational accounting activities following US GAAP
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports for internal and external use.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reconciliations in line with US GAAP.
- Interpret financial transactions and resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Develop and implement processes with focus on automation, scalability, and efficiency.
- Take an active role in month/quarter/year-end closing processes with adherence to deadlines.
- Perform financial analysis of accounting data and transactions to identify significant fluctuations for review and accuracy.
- Support the quarterly and annual financial audit process with internal and external audit teams.
- Continuously identify/implement work process improvements to streamline accounting methods and increase the productivity of the corporate accounting team.
- Perform special projects and studies on accounting and control matters as requested.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements.
- Assist with the consolidation of the subsidiaries used in the financial statement preparation
- Review other ad-hoc activity during the month to ensure that the month-end numbers are true and fair.
- Lead the statutory/group audit including but not limited to testing, query resolution and financial statement updation
- Review data required for notes to accounts disclosures.

- Strong project management skills and experience with a proven history of results.
- Managing multiple priorities simultaneously through strong prioritization, and organization skills.
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Significant practical experience in delineating between SOX and non-SOX controls and objectives
Qualification and Experience:
Required
- Chartered Accountant/ Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with 4 to 6 years of business experience, preferably with Big 4 or with the finance department in a multi-national company
- Strong US GAAP accounting knowledge.
- Hands-on with compliance and regulations
Mandatory Requirements:
