What Data Management and Governance contributes to Cardinal Health
The Data & Analytics Function oversees the analytics life-cycle in order to identify, analyze and present relevant insights that drive business decisions and anticipate opportunities to achieve a competitive advantage. This function manages analytic data platforms, the access, design and implementation of reporting/business intelligence solutions, and the application of advanced quantitative modeling.
Data Management and Governance provides direction of data assets and is responsible for data strategy, quality, standards and service levels. Data management acquires, validates, standardizes, enriches, protects and publishes structured, third party and unstructured data for use by the business. Governance defines and implements policies, standards and metrics that ensure the effective and efficient use of trusted data and statistical models to support regulatory and business goals.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field, Industry Certifications, and/or work experience
  • 4+ years professional experience preferred
  • Ability to collect, synthesize, and interpret information from multiple sources as well as provide easy to understand recommendations
  • Hands on Experience with SQL
  • Experience in Data Governance and Quality Technologies (Informatica, SAP, Collibra, others)
  • Good to have experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Console, GCS, Dataproc, Big Query, Data Studio)
  • Good to have experience data management, engineering and analysis leveraging data science tools (Alteryx, Tableau, PowerBI or similar) and Scripting Languages (Python, SQL, etc.) required
  • Strong experience of continuous improvement, Agile, DevSecOps delivery, and continuous learning required
  • Strong knowledge of Cardinal Heath business processes and systems preferred
  • Presentation, communication, planning skills experience

  • Plan and execute deliverables independently and in collaboration with/across organizations within timelines.
